Ulises joined the Pacific Catch team on October 20th, 2008 as a Sous Chef at the 9th Ave. location.

Ulises was born and raised in Hidalgo, Mexico and in 1996 while studying accounting he got the opportunity to come to the United States. Upon his arrival Ulises started working at Boston Market, Carls Jr. and then Applebee's, where he was promoted to BOH trainer helping open two more Applebee's locations.

While opening the Applebee's locations Ulises met the General Manager of Baja Fresh who then recruited him. Ulises spent the next 10 years opening all the Baja Fresh locations in Northern California, Reno and Chicago, working as line manager, regional trainer and then food supervisor.

Tom Hansen, COO of Pacific Catch, had also worked at Baja Fresh and thought of Ulises when the Sous Chef position at our 9th Ave location became available. Ulises jumped at the chance to work for Tom again.

Ulises currently resides in Hayward, CA and when he's not working he enjoys reading, drawing and dancing.
