Ocean Friendly
Pacific Catch + Sustainability
At Pacific Catch, sustainability isn’t just a policy — it’s a principle that guides every decision we make about the seafood we serve. Inspired by our respect for the Pacific Ocean and the cultures that surround it, we are committed to sourcing high-quality seafood that protects ocean ecosystems and supports responsible fishing and aquaculture.
Every species on our menu is carefully evaluated through a transparent, science-based process that considers sourcing methods, stock health, environmental impact, and supply chain integrity. While we follow guidelines from organizations such as Seafood Watch, Aquaculture Stewardship Council, Marine Stewardship Council, and Best Aquaculture Practices, our internal review process allows us to adapt as sustainability science evolves.
Pacific Catch + Clean Oceans
As proud partners of the Surfrider Foundation, Sea Hugger, and the Mavericks Surf Awards, we support protecting our oceans, waves, and beaches while celebrating coastal culture and sustainability.
We are involved in regular beach cleanups with our partners, have reduced our plastic footprint with compostable utensils and straws as part of the Ocean Friendly Restaurant program, recycle fryer oil into biofuel, compost food waste, and incorporate green building practices like LED lighting, water-saving fixtures, and drought-tolerant landscaping.

We're proud to partner with Surfrider Foundation to support clean oceans and healthy beaches. Through this collaboration, our restaurant joins a network of environmentally conscious businesses working to reduce plastic waste, promote ocean-friendly practices, and protect our coastlines for future generations.

We're honored to partner with Sea Hugger, a nonprofit dedicated to protecting and healing the marine environment through education, action, and advocacy. This collaboration reflects our shared commitment to reducing plastic pollution, supporting sustainable practices, and inspiring our community to care for our oceans.
Pacific Catch does not serve seafood rated “Red” by Monterey Bay Aquarium’s Seafood Watch, with the exception of lobster, where we continue to review emerging science and expert guidance.
Our commitment includes:
Sourcing only verifiably sustainable seafood
Partnering with responsible aquaculture producers
Reducing environmental impact through thoughtful sourcing and waste reduction
Ensuring traceability from boat or farm to plate
Supporting transparency and improved seafood standards across the industry
We believe the future of seafood lies in supporting both healthy wild populations and transformative, well-managed aquaculture. Our mission is not just to serve exceptional seafood - it is to ensure that future generations can enjoy it too.
We are proud to stand as THE West Coast fish house that doesn't just serve fish but serves as a steward for the ocean that gives us life and flavor.
